
Many of the data, information and transaction services provided by CANNEX are available by direct access to the CANNEX System. Other services are available by accessing the CANNEX World Wide Web or Data Feeds services.
Subscribers access the CANNEX System directly using the Internet or dial up access.
Subscribers have access to RealTime, client specific, surveys and quotations for annuities, as well as RealTime surveys for term deposits/GICs/GIAs, RRSPs, RRIFs, deposit accounts, mortgages, prime rates, credit cards and personal loans.
Agents/Brokers rely on this service when advising their clients. Financial institutions use this service to distribute interest rate and product information to brokers and agents.
Financial institutions also use this service to maintain their product information on the CANNEX System and to obtain comparative surveys for market research.

CANNEX has standardized the access to its online services by using Reflection® communications software. There are two Reflection® options:
Reflection® Desktop: This method requires that CANNEX send you a copy of the required software. Once installed, this method permits access using the Internet (SSL, port 443) or dial up access to the CANNEX modem pool.
Reflection® for the Web: This is a Java version of Reflection® that creates an encrypted SSL session to the CANNEX System. The first time this method is used, a certificate needs to be accepted to ensure that the Java program is authentic.
